Adding Your Event to the 13WHAM.Community Calendars

If you wish to have your event listed in our community calendars you will have to join the community.

The good news is if you have already joined our site, to play a game, or enter a contest, you can use that username and password to get started here in 13WHAM.Community! Just click on "Sign In" in the upper right hand corner of the screen, enter the e-mail address and password you used to enter our games and contests.

You will be asked to check your e-mail to get a code (this makes sure that you are giving us an e-mail address you own). Pick a nickname, enter your code from your e-mail, and you are on your way.

If you haven't joined the site for anything before, click the "Join" link in the upper right hand corner of the screen, fill out the form. After filling out the forms you will be asked to check your e-mail to get a code (this makes sure that you are giving us an e-mail address you own). Pick a nickname, enter your code from your e-mail, and you are on your way.

If for some reason you don't get your code, message me with your e-mail address and we'll take care of it.

Now, to get listed in the Community Calendars...

    1. Once in the calendar section, select a calendar ("Rochestertoday", "Rochester Night Scene", etc,) from the Calendars box on the right hand side of the screen.

    3. In the title section, put the title of your event to be listed

    4. Choose the date of your event from the Event Date chooser (click on the little calendar icon to open a larger calendar from which you can choose a date)

    5. In the message secion, put the details of your event

    6. Now click the "Details" tab (right next to compose at the top of the form)

    7. Fill in the form with any of those details you may have.

If your event repeats contimue on otherwise skip to step 10

    8. Click the "Recurrence" tab.

    9. Choose how often your event repeats (daily, weekly, etc.) and the date the events will stop.

    10. Click "Post Item"

Re: Adding Your Event to the 13WHAM Community Calendar

I did all of those steps two weeks ago, using Firefox browser. After I clicked submit, it wasn't clear whether you received the event information. (The event info remained on the screen.)

I just checked and my event (Narnia musical May 11-13, 2007) is not listed. So I resubmitted it, this time using Explorer browser (in case Firefox was the problem before). Same thing. I can't tell if I've submitted it successfully because after clicking submit, nothing much happens. Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: Adding Your Event to the 13WHAM.Community Calendars

    Hi,

I added a couple of events to the calendar and only one of my events showed up on the community calendar the rest are in my private view.  I was wondering why only one of my events showed up.  Is there only one event per person?

Re: Adding Your Event to the 13WHAM.Community Calendars

I added two events, one for 7/28 and one for 7/29 but neither of them have been added yet.  Could you please let me know when they will go up.  The were both for a garage sale for Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose.

    Thanks, Kim

There is no "Common Task Box" on the right hand side of the screen.
